The Documents tab of a case can be accessed when you open a case within Equinox and click on Documents.


The number displayed on the Documents tab indicates the number of documents saved to the case.


On this screen, users can upload new documents and view/download existing documents that have been saved to the case.


Documents are listed in date order.


The following document information is displayed:


Column

Description

File icon

The icon on the far left indicates the type of document file.

 

  - Word (.docx)

- PowerPoint (.ppt)

Image result for excel file icons microsoft- Excel (.xls)

 - PDF (.pdf)

 - HTML (.html)

 - Image (.png/.jpg)

Date

This is the date that the document is uploaded to Equinox, unless edited.

Title

The name of the document within Equinox.

For emails there is an extra icon next to the document Title to indicate if the document is the original email or an attachment:

Locked Status

If a padlock icon is displayed the document is not available to view in the Client Access portal. For more information on this please see the section on ‘Viewing/Updating Document Details’.

 

Status

The document status indicates if the document requires any attention or updates.

Size

This indicates the size of the document.

Attention

This indicates the user responsible for the document. 

Folder

This shows if the document is assigned to a folder. If the document is not assigned to a folder this column will be blank.

User

This indicates the user that uploaded the document to Equinox.

Preview icon 

If the preview icon is displayed, you will be able to see the content of the document within Equinox.

 

Download

Click this link to download the document file to your PC.

Primary/Secondary Classification

These columns indicate the document classification. 

Check Out Status

If the document is checked out, this will be indicated on the far right.
