This option allows users to quickly create cases for international trademark applications that are filed under the Madrid System, by copying the base registration case in Equinox.

This functionality is similar to the ‘Copy Case’ option but can only be used for trademark cases.

To Generate a Madrid Case

1. Go to the Details tab of the base registration case

2. Click the ‘Generate Madrid’ option in the left hand menu

This option will be available on all trademark cases that do not have the country code WP.

3. Enter the new Case Code

4. Choose what information is copied to the new Madrid case

Please see the table on ‘Default Madrid Fields’ below for information on what fields are automatically copied.
