This option enables users to duplicate charges from one case and add them to another case or cases within the system.


To use the ‘Copy to Other Cases’ option, select this in the left-hand menu then follow the steps below:


1. Choose Charges to Copy

Use the tick box to select which charges on the case you would like to copy. You can copy multiple charges at once.


2. Set Charge Copy Settings

Specify the new charge information:

  • Date: Set new charge date as ‘Today’s date’ or ‘Original Charge Date’.
  • Charge User: Set the new charge user to yourself or to the original charge user.

 

4. Select Cases to Copy to

  • Type the case codes directly into the ‘Cases Added’ box.

            OR

  • Use the ‘Search for Case Code’ field to type a case code.
  • Select the relevant case code.
  • Click ‘Add to list’.

 

3. Click ‘Copy’ (Or Click ‘Cancel’ to go back)

The new charges will be added to the selected cases. You will be returned to the Charges tab of the case you have copied from.


Note: This option is useful for copying charges to cases within the same family.
