Combined Case Billing enables users to generate an invoice for charges across multiple cases that have the same billing client.


To create a Combined Invoice:

  1. Go to the Finance tab
  2. Click ‘Combined Invoices’

 

This screen lists all clients that have unbilled charges on their cases. Monthly billing clients are not included in this list.


The following information is displayed:


Column

Description

Who Pays the Bill

The name of the Billing Location that has unbilled charges.

Organisation

The name of the Organisation the Location is linked to.

Outstanding Charges

The number of unbilled charges across all cases for the billing Location.

Previews

A link to an existing preview that has been generated.

 

    3. Click on the name of a ‘Who Pays the Bill’ Location that you want to generate a Combined invoice for.

 

This opens the Equinox Billing Wizard.


There are 3 steps to generate the invoice:

  • Step 1 – Currency and Discounts
  • Step 2 – Invoice Adjustments
  • Step 3 – Produce Invoice

Note: If charges have been added to a case that has been created without a billing client, a warning will be listed at the top of the screen. ‘X Cases have no Who Pays – Click here to fix’. This displays a list of the case codes that have no billing contact. Click on the case code to go to the Details screen and set a contact in the ‘Who Pays’ field.
