Locations store the postal address details for any offices/locations that are linked to the Organisation. One Location is always created when the Organisation is set up. However, it is possible to create additional Locations after this.

 

There are several ways to create additional Locations:


Option

Description

1. Within the Organisation Details

Locations are listed within the Organisation Details screen. It is possible to add extra Locations from this screen.

 

  1. Go to the Address Book Organisation
  2. Click ‘Add Location’ or ‘Add New’
  3. Fill in the Location Details
  4. Click ‘Add’ to save the new Location or Cancel to prevent the changes being saved

 

The Location will be listed in the bottom right of the Organisation Details screen.

2. From A Statutory Contact


Users require certain permissions to be able to use this option.

  1. Go to the Address Book and find the Applicant/Inventor/Licensee
  2. Click on ‘Copy as Location’ in the left hand menu
  3. Select the linked Organisation where the Location should be created
  4. Click ‘Save’ to create the Location

 

Note: You would need to enable the Location categories after creation.
