People are linked to Locations within the Address Book, to record the details of the individuals you correspond with. One Person can be added when an Organisation is created, however extra People can be added afterward.

1. Within the Location Details

People listed within the Location Details. It is possible to add extra People from this screen.

 

  1. Go to The Address Book Organisation
  2. Click on the Location in the bottom left
  3. Click ‘Add New’ in the list of People on the left
  4. Fill in the Person Details
  5. On the right, tick which Address Book Mailing Lists the contact should be included in.
  6. Click ‘Save’ to add the person to the system or click ‘Cancel’ to prevent the changes being saved. 

2. From A Statutory Contact


Users require certain permissions to be able to use this option.

The details of any applicants/inventors or licensees can be created as a Person at the Location of an Organisation they are linked to as a Statutory Contact.

 

  1. Go to the Address Book and find the Applicant/Inventor/Licensee
  2. Click on ‘Copy as Person’ in the left hand menu
  3. Select the linked Organisation > Location where you are creating the Person
  4. Amend or add any details
  5. Click ‘Save’ to create the Person

 

Note: The Statutory Contacts and People are stored as separate entities in the Address Book and need to be updated separately.
