The Preferences tab enables users to configure correspondence and case preferences for the Organisation.


The following preferences are available:

 


Preferences

Description

Default Language

Set the language to ensure correspondence templates with the same language are available for this contact.

Delivery Method

Override correspondence templates and set a method the client has requested to receive all correspondence.

Note: This is only relevant if using the Smart Template functionality.

Discount Profile

If using Discount Profiles within your system select a profile to apply Charge Discounts on the Organisation’s cases.

Correspondence Care Notes

Add notes to appear on Outgoing Correspondence tasks before correspondence is generated and sent.

Note: This is only relevant if using the Smart Template functionality to generate your templates.

Disable Inbound Markups

Prevent the mark up being applied to charges that are added in another currency.

Default Attorney/Fee Earner for Case

Set a user to automatically be selected for a specified role on any cases created for this Organisation.

Default Formalities for Case

Default Secretary for Case

Default Trainee for Case

Charge Rate Currency

Set a currency to be applied to the hourly rate for any time charges for this client.

Note: Please see Foreign Charge Rates for more information on how this can affect the billing options for the client.
