Case statuses let users track the progress of a case.
Although the system has default case statuses available, it is also possible to add new case statuses. You can customise matter statuses so that certain statuses are only available for particular case types.
Note: A case status will be classified either as a Live status [L] or a Closed status [C].
If a matter has one of the Closed statuses, reminders and tasks are disabled. Any matter which is changed to a Closed status will automatically set the live tasks to 'Done'.

Note: The statues Open and Closed cannot be removed from an Equinox system or renamed.
The table below outlines the default case statuses that are available in the system. It's possible to customise this list.
