Before you can generate correspondence from Equinox you will need to have completed the following:


  1. Configure/Upload your templates to your Equinox account (see ‘Correspondence Template Overview’)
  2. Set up your contacts in the Address Book (See ‘Create New Contacts’)
  3. Link contacts to relevant cases (See ‘Case Contacts Tab’)

 

Note: Correspondence must be generated to a ‘Person’ within the Address Book. If you do not correspond with a specific individual at a particular Organisation, we recommend adding a generic person to your Address Book Organisation called ‘Sir/Madam’. 


Once you have completed the above you can use your templates to generate letters and emails to your case contacts. 


Correspondence templates (Standard and Smart) can be generated in 2 ways:

Description

Ad-hoc Correspondence

This option enables users to generate correspondence on an ad-hoc basis from the Contacts tab of a case.

Pre-set Task Correspondence

This option enables users to generate correspondence from a task that is part of a pre-set task list.
