Note: Users require certain permissions to use this funcitonality.

This option enables two Locations at any Organisation in the Address Book to be merged into one Location. When two locations are merged, users can choose which Location to keep and which one is deleted.

                       

The People and cases linked to the deleted Location will be re-assigned to the Location being kept.

 

  1. Go to the Address Book and click on an Organisation
  2. Click on the location you want to merge
  3. Click on ‘Merge Location’ in the left-hand menu
  4. Enter the name of the other Location that is being merged
  5. Choose which location is being kept (the other Location will be deleted, and the People and cases will be moved to the Location being kept)
  6. Click ‘Merge’

The Location being deleted will be removed. The People and cases of the deleted Location will be merged into the Location being kept.


Note: This action is non-reversible.
