The Timesheet displays all time logged in your Equinox system including:


 

This article outlines how to record Time within the Timesheet itself.


Reocrd Case Related Time


You can add case related fees on the Charges tab of a case, or within the Timesheet.


All case related Time charges (billable and non-billable) that are added within the Timesheet and on the Charges tab can be tracked in the Timesheet.


This section outlines how to record case related time within the Timesheet:


  1. Click on ‘Timesheet’ in the navigation bar
  2. Select the user logging the time under ‘Timesheet for’ (by default this will be yourself)
  3. Enter the date 
  4. Click 'Add Time' > Case related
  5. Type and select the case code
  6. Enter the Time, Amount and Description
  7. Select the Subcategory as ‘Billable’ or ‘No Charge’
  8. Click ‘Add’

 

The time charge will now be visible within the Timesheet and within the Charges tab of the relevant case.


Record Non-Case Related Time


Non-case related time can be recorded in the timesheet, without being linked to a case. Non-case related time cannot be ‘billed’ as it is intended for internal tracking.


There are two way to record non-case related time:


Using the Timer

To start a non-case related timer:

  1. Click the ‘Create Case’ icon on the right of the navigation bar
  2. Click ‘Create Timer’
  3. Click ‘Post’ when the time has been recorded

 

Users will be taken to the Timesheet to ‘Add’ the non-case related time (see below).


From the Timesheet

To record non-case related time directly in the Timesheet:

  1. Click on ‘Timesheet’ in the navigation bar
  2. Select the user logging the time under ‘Timesheet for’ (by default this will be yourself)
  3. Enter the date
  4. Click ‘Add’ Time > Non case related
  5. Select the Type of non-case related time (This list can be customised by contacting our Support team)
  6. Enter the amount of Time in Hours/Minutes
  7. Click ‘Add’

 

The Time will now be saved and visible within the Timesheet.
