Jurisdictions page overview

The jurisdictions page contains information about the different jurisdictions the IP Portal monitors. Equinox covers: 

  • National jurisdictions (e.g., the United Kingdom)

  • International jurisdictions (e.g., the EPO)

Search for a specific country on the jurisdictions page

You can search for a specific country within the jurisdictions page by using the search box on the left-hand side of the page.

 

To find a specific country, type in either:

•       The country/organisation name

•       The two-letter country/organisation code

Example - Searching for Greek jurisdiction information 

In this example, the jurisdiction we're looking for is Greece. 

  1. Enter the country's name (in this case, Greece) or its two-letter country code (GR) to return a result of Greece.

  1. Click on 'Greece' to view the country's jurisdiction details. 

        

         

  1. You'll now see an overview of the following information about IP regulations in Greece:

  • Memberships and Agreements

    • General

    • Patents

    • Trademarks

    • Registered Designs

         

  • Most Recent Notifications

        

         

  • Renewal Laws

        Equinox holds information about renewal laws for the following kinds of intellectual property:

  •       Patents
  •        Trade marks
  •        Registered designs
  •        Utility models

        

         

  • Official Fees

        The Official Fees section lists fees applicable to different kinds of intellectual property, allowing you to quickly see: 

  •        A description of the fee
  •        The fee amount
  •        The Equinox code for each fee
