There are two ways that you can view the results of your portfolio data comparison. These are:

  1. Via the Dashboard

  2. Via Status Reports

You can access both of these by going to Reports > PTO Portfolio Comparison

You can alternate between the Dashboard and the PTO Status report by clicking on the relevant tab in the top left of your screen. This is visible on both screens.

PTO Portfolio Data Comparison Dashboard

The PTO dashboard lets you view general information about the status of your portfolio.

Clicking Dashboard takes you to the PTO Data Comparison page.

The top four boxes on the screen detail the status of your Equinox cases. The four categories are:

  • Cases not yet searched

  • Cases with no match on register

  • Cases with differences to PTO

  • Cases that match registers

Case change visualisation

The bottom left box displays a graph showing the number of differences found between your Equinox data and the PTO data over time.

Cases with differences from PTO data

The bottom right box contains a list of cases with differences from PTO data.

Click the Resolve button to view and handle any outstanding differences. See our article on resolving discrepancies for more information.

PTO Portfolio Comparison - Status Report

The PTO Status Report provides you with details on the status of each matter in your Equinox system compared with the data held by the PTO. Like in other sections of Equinox, you can filter the report results by:

  • Case Code

  • Client

  • Category

  • Title

  • Country

In addition, you can also filter these case results by:

  • PTO Link

  • Number of Differences

Filtering by PTO link status

You can search your cases by the status of the PTO link. There are four possible statuses:

  • Active - The PTO functionality has found that the case is linked to the PTO case that it matches exactly

  • Disabled - You've manually disabled the link

  • No match - The PTO functionality hasn't found a match with PTO data

  • Not run yet - We've not yet run a search on this case

Filtering by Number of Differences

You can also filter your search results by the number of differences found between your case data and the data held by the PTO.

The dropdown lets you filter by:

  • Value - 0 differences; 1 difference

  • Range - 1+ differences; 2-5 differences; 5+ differences
